What's the game all about?

Clear The Board is a captivating word puzzle game where players must form words from randomly assorted letters in a series of small boxes. Each box contains 4-6 letters, and the player must use all the letters to create one word to move on to the next box. The challenge lies in efficiently forming words to clear all the boxes on the grid.

How it works

Starting a New Game

Click "Play Now" on the home page.

Choose your preferred difficulty level: Easy, Medium or Hard

Easy

A total of 16 boxes to clear.

Medium

A total of 20 boxes to clear.

Hard

A total of 16 boxes to clear.

Only one box is open at a time. The player must create a word using all the letters in the open box.

Letters can be selected by typing or tapping/clicking on the box to enlarge it and choose letters. Used letters will be grayed out to indicate they cannot be reused.

Players can switch to a different box if they get stuck, with no penalty for switching.

SCORING SYSTEM

Users will start with a fixed amount of points that decreases over time. The fixed score will depend on what difficulty the player has chosen.

The game will end once a word has been completed in all letter boxes and the board is cleared. An animation will appear saying “ Congratulations! You have Cleared the Board”.

A Game Summary will follow displaying the Total Points, Total Time, Home button and Play Again button.

What is the objective of Clear The Board?

How do I select letters?

You can type the letters into the answer box or tap/click on the letter box to enlarge it and select the letters.
Can I skip a box if I'm stuck?

Yes, you can use the 'Switch' button to close the current box and open a new one. There is no penalty for switching.
How is the score calculated?

Your score starts at a fixed amount and decreases by 10 points per second. The faster you clear the board, the higher your score.
What happens when I complete all the boxes?

Once all boxes are completed, you win the game and are taken to the game summary screen, showing your total time, points, and options to play again or return to the home screen.
