Play or Burn is a card game where the goal is to achieve the lowest possible score. Players must choose between playing or burning cards from a standard deck of 52 cards, aiming to strategically minimize their total score.

How it works ?

Start Screen:

Start the game by launching the application and selecting the "Play Now" option from the main menu.

A standard deck of 52 cards is presented, with options to either "Play" or "Burn" a card. Choose whether to "Play" or "Burn" a card by clicking the respective buttons.

If you select "Play" the card will be revealed, and its point value will be added to your score.

If you choose "Burn" the card will disappear from the deck without revealing its value.

The points system for the cards is available for reference in the ‘How to Play’ when you click the pause button.

The top of the screen shows details about the remaining cards and your current points, while the bottom displays a tally that keeps track of how many cards you have burned and played.

Once all cards have been played or burned, the game transitions to a summary screen, showing your final score and performance.
